Yes, you have to be a citizen of the country to play for that country's WC team. Personally, I don't think that the Italian took much of a dive on that hit. If anyone knows how to focus his force (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qi" rel="nofollow">qi</a>?) to make a powerful hit from his forehead, it'd be a professional soccer player. I just love how he had to <a href="http://www.shanghaidaily.com/img/news/200607100624_france-b.jpg" rel="nofollow">walk by the trophy</a> on his way out. Maybe he had to head butt to survive. I agree though that there is something unpleasant about his looks. He was playing for a Madrid team. I guess it's like the Olympics where you reunite with your country of birth for global competition purposes. I won't worry about it til 2010. I have never had the opportunity to try anything other than dial up so far in my life. Zidane has even made the local Duluth, MN USA tv news with that head butt.
