Silver Creek - I saw this golf cart in a shop window in London back in 2004.
I really don’t know why I didn’t buy this golf cart. Check out the larger version to see all the detail. One of the courses in my home town, Morganton, NC, is named Silver Creek1, so it would have special meaning for me.

Has it really already been a year? Time to head back, I say.
As if an excuse was needed, my stash of single malt has dried up. Two bottles got me through a year.
Count me in. I’m ready to go back. My Glenlivet is gone, and my game is back. I think I could compete this year. Or, next . . .
I see where Paul Casey shot a 63 at Kingsbarns today. That reminds me of Erik’s back nine there.
I don’t think we should go back to Kingsbarns until they make the back nine a little harder. I mean, really…challenge me a little!
Hey, do you realize that the day we played Kingsbarns was my -2 wedding anniversary? I hadn’t considered it until just now.
Do you know what happened on your -138 wedding anniversary? Your Dad’s Dad’s Dad’s Dad started his career.
Rasmus Elias Rasmussen was born in Bergen on Feb. 25, 1854. His parents were Rasmus Rasmusen Næs and Marthe Marie Olsen. He first signed on as a sailor at the age of 15. This was on Oct. 13, 1869, on the vessel “Hanna” on a trip from Bergen to Østensjøen. They returned on Nov. 1, 1869.
That’s cool. I think I still value more the anniversary of the best round of golf I’ve ever played on the most beautiful course I’ve ever played (and the Templar slaughtering in 1307).
