Alive in Baghdad

I just wanted to turn you on to my new favorite video blog: Alive in Baghdad.

I don’t know about you, but, for a while now, I’ve been hungry to know exactly what life is like for Iraqi citizens these days. My regular media sources either purposefully ignore the issue or make sweeping generalizations.

Alive in Baghdad does just what I would like to do, sit down and talk to Iraqis about how they feel about the occupation, the security in their country, etc. This has to be one of the most honest sources for information about what it’s like to live in Baghdad. Needless to say, it’s pretty depressing.
