It is amazing. Try this on. I was a tenth into the latest Steven King, and starting to enjoy it when I wandered onto sgazetti's blog/site. Meandering there, I saw reference to a 1992 Joseph Heller sequel to Catch-22 that I had never heard of! I mean, along with A Separate Peace and Cat's Cradle, Catch-22 shaped my mind back when it was malleable, so I knew I had to stop my King book and charge into Closing Time. Good old Yosarrian hasn't changed. So . . thanks sgazetti. Small world.

I hope you won't let all this fame go to your head and make you forget all the little people who helped you get to where you are today.

Seriously, that is a pretty cool thing to have happen. Although it's also the sort of thing I live in fear of. More and more, Google + blogs is becoming the equation by which normal people learn real, current, usable stuff about distant random places.

I might have to start an English-based Cantabrian tourism business.
