Ah, many thanks for giving me a good idea! One of my old apartment complexes stole my deposit a few years back, and these look perfect for their rent check mail slot. These slimy tongues would be quite the statement for them to find in the morning, on their office floor. i checked my local grocery store, and they're practically giving these things away, they're so cheap... 20 bucks could buy maybe 35 of them!

1) I'd state my (funny) thoughts, but then we'd all get in trouble.... me for stating them, and you for publishing them.... So let's just say I posted a funny thought here and we all stay out of trouble, OK? (yes, a novel idea... I know...)

2) I have heard for quite some time that tongue is good, and have retrieved same from the last few animals I've harvested (a euphemism for 'shot dead, and packaged for human consumption'), including deer, moose, and elk. But, alas, when confronted with the "What's for dinner" question when perusing my freezer, tongue never comes to the forefront and I end up throwing it away....

Bad me.... Maybe erik you could post a good recipe and I'll be inspired to try a moose or caribou tongue from this coming fall's hunt?

3. If you can't lick 'em, join 'em.
4. Tongue served in a thick puréed sauce with linen napkins - good taste cubed.
