Low Tide

Last Friday, we took an evening walk along Colindres’ Maritime Walkway. Unfortunately, the tide was out, so the view was drastically altered. To show you just how much it changes, I took a picture to compare with one I took a few weeks ago.

Beautiful, isn’t it? How deep do you think that water is? Think about it and then cast your eyes upon this photo at low tide…

Crazy, huh? Here, I’ve put them together for easy comparison…

So the water in that gorgeous, picturesque, original photo was just barely high enough to cover the grass (and wasn’t in some places, as you can see). Pretty amazing.
