More Beer and More Money

Loading ...The photo I posted here yesterday reminded me of another “still life” shot I took recently, so I figured I’d post it here too. Something about the juxtaposition of a $5 bill, an expensive laptop, and a can of cheap beer seems oddly artistic.
Now that is an expensive coaster!

why? why? why? why is there a beer on your laptop?!!??!?!?!
Clearly because there wasn’t any more room on the table! Duh!
The actual answer is that I had taken my laptop out onto the golf hole behind our condo to enter scores in a golf skills challenge into a spreadsheet. My laptop’s battery was kaput, though, and I didn’t end up using it at all.
The money was part of an entry fee for the competition, and, well, how could I not have a beer with me?
