Best speech I’ve heard in a long time

I honestly cannot recall ever being so moved by a speech given by a politician as I was watching Barack Obama’s Iowa victory speech on YouTube. The speaking abilities of Barack Obama and George W. Bush are completely on opposite ends of the scale. Tell me honestly, can you imagine Hillary, or any [...]

Traffic Laws, Spain vs. Venezuela

During a recent trip to Venezuela, as I was holding on, white-knuckled, to a jeep I was standing up in as it sped around a curvy road, the following hypothesis occurred to me:

Sicko

I watched Michael Moore’s new movie, Sicko, the other day. Let’s just say that he makes a good argument for me not returning to the States until I’m a millionaire. I think I’d rather have whatever life-saving operation I need when I need it than an iPhone.

How Not To Choose A Logo

Last time I was in Mondragon, I was struck by a particular logo that was spray painted onto many walls. It combines two really cool symbols. Unfortunately, the two symbols carry just a tiny bit of historical significance.
Both symbols can be made by drawing three lines on a sheet of paper, rotating the [...]
